What is Excessive Sweating?

  2. Clothing: cotton is the fabric of choice.
  3. Diet:  food like garlic and spices may make your sweat smell worse. So avoid these if you have body odor.
  4. Iontophoresis:
    This procedure uses a device that delivers low-level electrical currents. The currents are often delivered to your hands, feet, or armpits to temporarily block your sweat glands.
  5. Anticholinergic drugs:
    These medications inhibit the transmission of parasympathetic nerve impulses.
  6. Botox (botulinum toxin)
    Botox injections are widely used to treat if the patient suffers from severe hyperhidrosis.
